[ubuntu] Tape drive issue

The tape drive in our Ubuntu box is not being detected. I've reinstalled Ubuntu on it after it being on Windows Server for a while, However I cannot seem to get the tape drive working for the life of me. Nothing shows up under /dev and HP have been their usual helpful selfs.

Any help would be great
