End user comparison with 6 month old daughter. Hmm...similarities..

Daughter is now 6 months old, always happy, always chatty, rarely cries. Definetly a character.

Today we've started (quite by accident) to communicate by raspberry blowing. If she wants to get my attention, it's "pppppt", and a big smile. Most replies to daddy involve "ppppppt" today, along with spitbubbles.

So I do it back, as you do. I said at the time it's very similar to a daily helpdesk end user call really...lots of noise and dribble, no sense at all.

So now she's sat on her mum next to me, refusing to nap but blowing raspberries at everything, and doing the standard "blahblahBLAHblahBLAHblahdadamumum" chattering that she does, having a good long natter at god knows what, and looking at me.

So I looked at her and said "Really? Oh. Have you tried turning it off and on again?", and she blew a big dribbly raspberry in my face, let out a little loud squeal..and beat me with a rubber teething giraffe..

VERY similar to a daily end-user support call....including the toy-throwing...

Hmmm, sounds like a proud Daddy to me!

My 'end user' is 19 now, still lots of noise, less dribble, and I still can't make any sense of it all.
