GPO's to stop Students setting zip and office document passwords.

Hi all,

Due to an incident in school I need to be able to restrict Students ability to protect documents and zip files with passwords.

We are running XP/Office 2007

I appreciate this doesn't stop them from taking the thing home and setting it (which I think is what has happend), but I need to make sure that they cannot do it in school, or that you cannot save password protected files to the network.

I've already used file file screens to stop any more zip files being put on the network!

This is only for Primary age students!

Also, how (as the administrator) can I remove or find zip file passwords/office passwords. I'm trying a brute force attack at the minute, but it's been 17 hours and we are only up to 7 letter passwords!

Cheers, Ben
