Has anyone worked out how you can write off hardware in GLPI so that it is recorded as written off but no longer shows up in the hardware list?

Thanks

What I've started doing in mine is set a status as Recycled (or disposed or whatever) and then deleted the item.

As long as you don't then purge it I **think** it should stay in the database as a deleted item (otherwise I might find I've got a few items to put back into it)

We place ours in a specific location and when searching just exclude or include that location as appropriate. If the item leaves the site completely we would print off the details and file it before deleting it of the database. I've toyed with the idea of creating a seperate GLPI for those items but haven't got around to doing it yet.
