Rydra Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 I wouldn't call £40 off a £350 TV a "Price Crash". More of a vaguely decent discount considering that tv probably cost them about £50 to make! Just like the "Car for under £10,000!" when it's £9,999.99 I hate advertising I wasted a good 10 seconds of my life opening that email.
tech_guy Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 I had that email as well and was bitterly disappointed when I realised - so much so that I went outside and smothered a passing donkey.
Arthur Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 There are never any truly good deals these days. When there's money off a TV, it usually means it's rubbish or it's last years model.

tech_guy Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Where do you live, that donkeys pass by with such regularity? Not where I live, where I work. It's a bit backward this area. If they did a CSI drama here it would fail on the first murder as all the inhabitants have the same DNA...... 1
accura2000 Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 some of the replys here have made me chuckle, and in a scary way we have some inhabitants here that i strongly suspect have the same DNA and i would even go so far as questioning the method of procreation.
