Word Document has graph paper on blank document!

:confused:Just wondering if anyone can help me in reverting the word document back to a blank sheet. Every time I open word, the documents - new and old have graph paper background! I know it is something to do with the template but cannot remember how to revert back.

Are you using MS Word 2007? That's the only one I have and if you click on the "view" tab of the ribbon there is an option "gridlines" - if you have a tick in there, take it out and that should do it
