quicktime embeded in web pages

[sted]

im having trouble getting pages with quicktime movies to play i get a quicktime logo and ? I can save the file and it will give me info about the quicktime plugin im using (tried various versions of 7.6 and quicktime alternative 3.2.2) it does work fine as an admin though. Any ideas other than just telling the school quicktime sux?
