marvin Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Hi guys Just wondering if anyone can help me here! We have a 2003 SBS server and have exchange installed on it. When the server was first installed, it was setup to self issue a certificate but i just checked and it is due to run out in May 2010! Now what would happen after the date?
Abaddon Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 You'll get the certificate error warning page advising users not to continue to the unsafe site..
marvin Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 Can i renew it at all? Is it quite an easy task to do?
jamesb Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 As far as I'm aware you can't renew, but you can self-issue a new one. Creating, Obtaining, and Installing Trusted Certificates in a Windows SBS 2003 Network Environment has details on how to do this, or how to apply a trusted cert if you want to buy one.
timbo343 Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Ive got a document somewhere, i did mine over easter. It is really easy to do through PS..... ...... ..... found it. I think this is what you want. ExchangeInbox.com - Expired Exchange 2007 Certificate
