OKI B6250 printer

Hi

 

I have just received 2 oki b6250 work group printers and have installed them on the print server and prints go to the printer ok. I have deployed the printers with the school script and that works ok. The client machines can send prints to the printer ok but the print que on the print server does not clear.

 

I have tried pcl and ps drivers and they both to the same. I am now trying the latest drivers from the oki site.

 

Has anyone got any ideas.

I have just called oki and the guy was very nice but said "its not meant to do that" and will call his manager.

 

This is not a good sign.

I have disabled bidirectional printing and that appears to have solved the problem.
