wds image creation issues

ive managed to pull a few various xp images to my wds server today but the last 3 pcs ive tried have all gone so far in the capture process up to the point i say i want to capture to group x on the server then they all now say "the specified location does not contain a valid sysprepped windows installation" then as soon as i click ok reboot. Im using the same sysprep file as earlier and have just tried a fresh one from a different pen drive same result any ideas as its driving me batty
