Blocking Excel web querys

Hello,

 

had great response from Staff with the implementation of Synchroneyes and have the go ahead to buy however it does not block the student from using the internet by the Excel - Data - New Web query.

 

No software i have tested does anyone know a way i can stop this?

I think you can block this via Group Policies if you use the Office ADM templates.

We had this problem before the summer hols, however we have Lan Ranger and used a simple title check. However we did come accross a problem recently when lessons required the use of web query.

However with simple communication between staff and ourselves it was soon solved and we released this for certain years at certian times!
