Networked harddrive problem

I am currently using a Freecom Network Drive 1TB LAN (SWYBAH) to store files locally in my home network. to access the files from my machines I simply map a drive... "\\fnd\" or "\\ip\" which has been working fine on them all. However I just tried mapping the network drive on my new netbook and it is coming up with a login screen. None of my other machines get asked for a user/password, nor have I ever set one so I am a bit stuck!

 

netbook on win xp home, network is made up of home & professional and both are working and tested and are able to access the files without entering any login details.

 

any help much appreciated.

Is your netbook wireless and the other machines wired?
