[sims] Missing comment banks

Hi All,

It seems like the magic fairies have been and deleted comment banks, randomly no, it seems that our Food technology and Graphics who work together and Music, all whom are basically not very good when it comes to the Sims or for that matter IT.

 

Has anyone ever recovered just certain comment banks from backups and imported them back into Sims.

Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

You could restore your backup to a different machine, export the comment bank from that copy and then import back into your normal SIMS database.

 

Right clicking on the comment bank should let you export.

Found out today you cannot restore comment banks. You'd have to restore entire SIMS DB and roll back!

But surely you can bulk import them? So an export - import would work.
