Ruckus Wireless - recommended netbook suggestions

Hi all,

 

We're looking to implement Ruckus ZoneDirector1000 and some Zoneflex 7942 Access points.

 

My question is, can anyone recommend Netbooks that they use with Ruckus wireless and works well?

 

I was looking at Samsung n130 but I read other posts on this forum, that users had experienced problems with them dropping offline, atheros cards was it?

 

Any suggestions would be great. Thank you

that was probably my post, and it was acers that werent working due to a faulty set of atheros cards due to firmware updates.

 

I cant say for other brands.

Ok, yeah it maybe Acers. Pretty sure simplesi or someone posted something.

 

So what netbooks are everyone using?

Yes ther is currently a thread regarding N130 and Ruckus.

 

We have an active case open with Ruckus to investigate. We can not say it is a problem with either the AP or the Client as of yet but Ruckus are investigating into the Realtek driver the notebook uses.
