MatthewDervin Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I have recently installed a radeon x1300 card in a dell optiplex 740 I am using a dvi/vga splitter cable to try to connect to 2 monitors but it only connects to one the dvi monitor if its connected and the vga monitor if the other monitor is disconnected. I have been to the ati website and it says that this card supports 2 monitors. The card has no vga port simply a svideo and dvi port Do I need to get a svideo to vga adapter or ???
painejake Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 (edited) What version of Windows are you using? WIth both Vista and Windows 7 for me it was auto detected. and a dvi or vga splitter is all thats needed. Edited March 11, 2010 by painejake
MatthewDervin Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 I cannot see that the operating system should make any difference
