mimza Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Hello All EduGeeks! I would like to know how you do tests in Fronter? Do you use the test tool in Fronter or you prepare your tests in another application and then import to Fronter? Fronter is supposed to be compatible with IMS QTI tests but when I import such a test (prepared in a different test creation tool compatible with IMS QTI) Fronter does not display such a test accurately or sometimes doesn't display it at all. Does anyone have any experience in carrying out tests in Fronter? What tools for creating tests would you recommend so that they could be nicely and accurately imported to Fronter? I do not want to rely completely on the Fronter's test creation tool beacuse I may not be able to reuse them in other LMS. Greetings, Michal (Poland)
ballywholan Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Hi Michal, My experiment with using the test tool in Fronter (version 91) was time consuming and unsuccessful. Its use for testing isn't particularly well documented and it also appears to work differently than expected. I found that it didn't produce any usable statistical output. I logged some issues with the developers so I might try again after our version update tomorrow. Padraig
