Backup Exec 2010 & HyperV Plugin Problem A failure occurred querying the Writer Staus

Hi,

 

I am getting the exact problem as described here: Backup of a Hyper-v Virtual Machine using Agent for MS Virtual Server(AMVS) fails with error "A failure occurred querying the Writer status."

 

I followed the steps and it does not fix the problem. I also tried reinstalling the integration tools.

 

Running VSSADMIN LIST WRITERS on both host and guest servers shows no errors.

 

I have 2 Servers with 4 virtual machines on each. Its happening on 3 virtual machines. One on one and Two on the other.

 

The Guest OS are:

 

2 x Windows Server 2003

1 x Windows Server 2008 R2

 

The Guest and host OS are fully pathed up as well as Backup Exec.

 

If anyone can help i would appreciate it.
