flexyjerkov Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I want to output some XML into a table into 3 columns and loops through all the values in the string. XML i plan to output. Allowed URLS *2simpleclipart.com *abpischools.org.uk I want to copy all the values going through the DomainNameStrings. Anyone able to give some quick help.
flexyjerkov Posted March 5, 2010 Author Posted March 5, 2010 Thats where i started on but the XML file in that example is very basic and doesnt contain a string as such.
MicrodigitUK Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I think what you need is to learn XSLT it is like the CSS equivalent to XML and you can use it to transform XML into to any format you like. Have a look at XSLT Tutorial It might also be a good idea to run over the basics of XML again before learning XSLT P.S. How’s the job hunting going? I see Martin has gone for the Abbeyfield School Job.
MicrodigitUK Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Forgot to mention get a copy of XMLSpy trial version. It’s probably the best tool for the Job.
