Publisher Version

We still have publisher 2000 in school.

On a pc, she can't open publisher files, it says Publisher cannot open files from a different version.

Trouble is they have been opened in 2002 but are still saved as .pub files. Without me converting every one is there a way to open them? I've tried the 2002 compatibility pack but got the same error.

No because office files are only backwards compatable v2002 can open v2000 but v2000 cannot open v2002 and so on.
