I have flash version 10,0,45,2 installed, but the page says "You must have JavaScript enabled and Flash Player 9.0.115 or more installed to view these movies" Thanks in advance!
kmount Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Yup, works for me. Are you on a filtered internet connection? I've seen occurrences similar to this when the user is actually filtered from seeing the movie (which sits in front of the message saying "you need blah blah". 1
rocknrollstar Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 Thanks for checking. We only have the Hampshire County Council filtering, with no control over any individual site. Any ideas on how to get around this?
rocknrollstar Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 Just checked the site on our win2k server, and it is working. It's got IE6 and flash 10,0,22,87. Other pcs had IE7 or 8, and latest flash. Will check if turning off compatability mode changes things.
kmount Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Assuming your server goes through the same proxy with the same filtering as your clients it does look like it could be browser/group policy related.
