loucoll-Dave Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Hi Guys we did have wds working untill the raid decided to completly die on the server, very helpful when you have 24 laptops and 60 machines waiting to be imaged but nevermind.... we have since set wds back up on server 2008 with sp2 32bit i have set all the permissions on the shares etc and can \\ to the share, we dont have dhcp running on this server so have left the dhcp 60 and 66 settings alone, i inported the boot files and images direct into the share, they shown up in wds perfect...so thought jd go have a coffee. got to boot the first machine and goes in select the image-it image to boot, put in my ad login details soon as i get passed that part i get this: "an error has occurred while processing your request, unable to connect to the network path was not found" all the vlans are setup right, etc i just cant understand it, any help on this will be very welcome.....maybe i over looked a setting no ones perfect :-)
loucoll-Dave Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 nevermind, sorted it on my own :-)
Randolfini Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I'm experiencing the same problem, how did you "sort it out" ?? Also for future reference of others, please explain how you sorted it out. It is eternally frustrating to find a post with the same problem, only to find the person fixed it without explanation! Thanks, Randolfini
