wellscs Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 We are a school with boarders and allow pupil access to facebook at certain times of the day. We have IE7 and 8 and isa200 proxy server. Over the last 12 days none of the pages will display correctly. The palce holders are there but no graphics. even the blue background is missing. Any help will be gratefully received Thanks
FN-GM Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Facebook have changed the site recently it might be something to do with that. I have never used ISA 2000 only 2004, 2006 & TMG. How are you allowing it through by a URL list or a domain list?
ZeroHour Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Post the urls you are using as I suspect you need to add more urls to the whitelist to get images going again. I had isa 2000 here, ooh I remember the days
FN-GM Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 It might be worth updating to something a little newer. If you can't afford ISA maybe change for a Linux solution?
wellscs Posted February 18, 2010 Author Posted February 18, 2010 Here are the destination sets that we use *facebook.com *en-gb.facebook.com Willkommen bei Facebook | Facebook http://www.facebook.com
FN-GM Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) Try using these: facebook.com *.facebook.com http://facebook.com http://*.facebook.com https://facebook.com https://*.facebook.com It is important you have that dot after the * - the * is a wildcard so any DNS name under facebook.com will be allowed Try all 6 of these. Jackd Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 CSS and Javascript and profile images etc, comes from *.fbcdn.net so you might want a rule to unblock that.
CensorNet Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 CSS and Javascript and profile images etc, comes from *.fbcdn.net so you might want a rule to unblock that. Yep this is most likely your problem - if you don't allow the CDN (Content Delivery Network) you won't get any styles or pictures 1
