That's quite a nice idea but it needs more info.

 

I don't know how many councils make parking info available in a form that a site like this can use but that would really help - at the moment it says there is no street parking or meters both where I live and work but there are both.

The information comes from those who use the site. I think that it is still quite new so the date may well be incomplete. There are no reviews of the car parks [or none that I could find] for example.

I have had another look at several areas I know quite well and they all appear to be covered pretty well.

 

Edit: As you leave the site it may give you the opportunity to send feedback to the site owners. So all good then?

Quite surprised how much there is already on my crappy little town. Could turn out to be quite useful.

 

However theres already a potential for misuse - someone has 'spammed' my area with a request for a parking space near the Emirates - 60 odd miles away
