RinSewand Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 (edited) I think you might be asking a little much there. It's all at least one generation old, you could put together an i7, 6Gb, Dual ati 5xxx for that kind of money these days, and probably double the performance. I'd be looking for a fair bit less if i was selling a similar rig. How have you got the two 1400 psus linked up by the way? Edited February 3, 2010 by RinSewand
philipsmith Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 Do you have a offer to make? I need to arrange postage to and its very very, very heavy! The Antec P190 case comes with link cable to attach to PSUs together so you can spread the load over components. About price don't forget you would not price a computer that cheap with that type of computer case and and water cooler is around £300 still today! I think you might be asking a little much there. It's all at least one generation old, you could put together an i7, 6Gb, Dual ati 5xxx for that kind of money these days, and probably double the performance. I'd be looking for around £700ish off the top of my head for that kind of machine. How have you got the two 1400 psus linked up by the way?
RinSewand Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 (edited) Sorry - it was more ment to be helpful advice. You might have more luck shifting it on some of the performance sites if it doesn't go on here. Have edited my post slightly so as not to impinge on your sale... feel free to edit down the quote. £300 buys you a D-Tek/Laing/Thermochill kit, as opposed to an all in one like the Zalman, which i'd expect to perform on par with a top heatsink, it just doesn't have the capacity of a 120.3 (or larger) radiator. Did the system ever get overclocked? Migh tbe worth posting a few screen shots of the maximums along with some idle/load temps if it did. Apologies if this comes across badly - I spent a huge amount of time as a student building, tweaking, benching and speccing watercooled rigs... RwD Edited February 3, 2010 by RinSewand
