RobFrain Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Hi Just a quick one - is there a quick way to find out who has not got a photo in Sims.net? I've been asked to a photo of all the kids that are missing and insert them into Sims!! Ta Rob
Sivadam Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Can't think of a quick way but you could always produce a Year Report with Photographs on. With the photos reduced by a big %age, obviously, else it might take a very very long time to run and could even time out!
CAM Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Design this report: OnRoll, Focus Students. Select the fields 'Student Name' and 'Photo Available' (both under Students category) Filter the report in the next screen where 'Year Group' = Prompt at Runtime and 'Photo Available' = False Output it as an RTF Report. This will give you a list of students who are missing a photo in SIMS. And you can pick a year group to look at.
Sivadam Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Good idea Cam! Now why didn't I think of that! Obvious when you see it!
vikpaw Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 There's a built-in report from Capita (CES Reporting Services) called "No photograph report" based on students. Just run that and click 'select all' on both parameters to see all in school who have no photograph. I've made my own report only for the Staff Area, where i don't think SIMS has a report. There's no point clogging up the system with your own reports unless you have to
vikpaw Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 PS if there's lots missing, you can use the bulk importer, but it needs to be licensed. Just need to name the photos by admission number, i had a script to do this based on their name. )
Sivadam Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I had missed that one. I see it's been there since November 2009!
