Darryl_Wilcox Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Hi there, We had a FOG installation but it wasn't working, and it wasn't set up by me either. We've now started again and i'm setting it up. I'm following the fog wiki, ubuntu is setup and on the network as per the wiki instructions. However when trying to follow the fog instructions i am reaching a blank almost straight away. The trouble is it says to download the installation package to the /opt directory, but i have no access, and i can't use the admin sudo command as there is a proxy and i don't know how to set a system wide proxy. I'm using ubuntu installation 9.04, and FOG 0.28. Any help appreciated.
Cools Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 DL to your home dir or create a tmp in root cd / mkdir tmp cd tmp wget (URL) tar -zxvf fog_0.28.tar.gz cd fog_0.28 cd bin ./installfog.sh Install starts 1
