ePortal SSO

Hi guys,

 

We are swapping over to facility & ePortal - which has been giving me a right headache from the off!!!

And surprise surprise I am against a brick wall again - even their 1st line support finishes at 3.30 on a Friday!

 

Anyway, I am trying to configure AD for SSO, with this command:

 

ldifde -v -i -f CCMPortalUser.ldf /c "DC=X" "DC=***,DC=***,DC=***"

 

It returns

 

Connecting to "HGE-DC01.***.***.LOCAL"

Logging in as current user using SSPI

Importing directory from file "CCMPortalUser.ldf"

Loading entries

1: CN=CCM-PortalUsername,CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=***,DC=***,

DC=Local

 

Add error on line 2: No Such Object

The server side error is "Directory object not found."

0 entries modified successfully.

An error has occurred in the program

No log files were written. In order to generate a log file, please

specify the log file path via the -j option.

 

What am I missing here? I presume that it is looking for a container within AD but I can't work it out!!!

 

Any help would be useful.

Hi,

You need to make sure the file is in the directory you are in and also you run this command on the Master Schema Server.... this might not be the Domain Controller.

It was a while ago I did this and I can't remember if you need the "" around the domain name :/

I am certainly in the right directory in cmd, and I have tried the "" with no success.

My server is the operational master for RID, infrastructure and PDC.

 

I guess I'll have to call it a day for a Friday and speak to serco 1st line on Monday!
