I have a windows server 2003 domain but i've just purchased soem windows 7 systems. However, i find out that the group policy does not work on these windows 7 systems, especially the drive mapping and folder redirection.

Can anyone please help me out here. Thanks

You need to use one of the Windows 7 boxes to manage Group Policy, you need something like the RSAT pack to do this. I think one has been released for Windows 7, but I'm not too sure.

I have used RSAT on windows 7 to create a new group policy for Windows 7 and it's worked but still have issues with drive mappings. All drives are mapped for some users while they are not for some other users. Is there something I'm doing wrong here or something I am not doing?

Are you using the Group Policy Preferences section to map drives by any chance? If so, your client machines will need that update installed on them for that to work. If you have WSUS, you can approve it for the entire network.

If you are not using GPP, then I am not too sure.
