new laptop problem

Hi,

 

Bought a few new acer laptops with vista business on them, down graded to xp pro and have had same problem with all of them, working on them they seemed fine and gave them to the teachers however after about 30 mins of up time they give a error

 

szAppname: svchost.exe szModname: AcGeneral.dll

 

asks to send the error report and then cuts network connections. No internet or server however sub folders on the server are still accessible?

 

Anyone had anything like this before?

Do a full windows update may fix it if i recall correctly.
