TechSupp Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Just been looking at our server and discovered it was getting a little low on space (not now as I had a clearing up session), its split into two drives, one hosting the operating system one hosting some other bits like profiles etc. Is there an easy way to resize the drives as the the second partition has more free space than we will need...and if there is an easy way what should I look out for when doing it!

Anyway thanks for the suggestion, managed to clear up enough space anyway to save messing with the partitions. Should last long enough now till we eventually go over to 2008 and a new server in the next year or so.

Linux.com :: A quick look at the GParted live CD + for Gparted tool.... Very good.. Bit scary to use but has never failed me yet.

laserblazer Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I use Symantec Ghost but as this is part of ghosting to another drive, it's not so scary. As long as I ge the source and destination right!
danrhodes Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Go virtual and then just allocate more space to your disk when your getting low! Even easier.
