does any one know away how to change the file extension mp3 to open with media play and not some other software using a script or gpo?

 

for some reason vlc player is the default player for mp3 files and we need it to be media player as ict for life wont open media files.

something along the lines of finding all the relevant file types you want to restore to wmp and make a batch file to do so

 

Easy File Associations

 

unless you can get a client that has all of this setup already and just export the registry key and make a startup / logon script to silently execute the reg file so that it imports it without any prompts etc
