AngryTechnician Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 After falling in love with the long overdue cross-browser support of OWA in Exchange 2010, I was dismayed to notice that the non-IE version is missing the spellcheck button (to the left of the Options button): Now, I know Firefox has it's own spellcheck, but I've noticed it doesn't always kick in properly in rich text fields, which is why I went looking for the OWA one. Is the disabling of the spellcheck by design to make way for the browser's own spellcheck, or have I managed to break my OWA somehow?
jonwitts Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I have just noticed today that we do not have spell check in Firefox in OWA on Exchange 2010 either... Aside from that it is a million times better than OWA from exchange 2003 in Firefox!
RabbieBurns Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Spell Check - Outlook Live Answers ...The reason is because we hide our spell checker and allow the browser's built-in spell check feature to handle the check spelling. The browser spell check features allow the Add to Dictionary action
