fawkers Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Hello Everyone I need to re-build my laptop to move it onto windows 7, however sony in there infinite wisdom dont ship recovery disks (which include DVD software etc) with there systems, you have to burn our own at purchase. I did this and now cant find the dam things. Sony now want to charge me £40 for a replacement set! So can anyone help, I need recovery disks for a Sony Vaio VGN-CS21Z\Q Many Thanks .Adam
RabbieBurns Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 just use an OEM cd/dvd of whatever operating system it came with, and use the serial number on the sticker to activate it. Then grab the driver pack from the sony site to install the drivers. That way you get a fresh install without all the pre-installed crap that comes with it.
