IanT Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Is there a way of AD automatically disabling a computer account if it hasnt been contacted for lets say 60 days. Thanks
IanT Posted December 30, 2009 Author Posted December 30, 2009 Dont worry chaps, found something here: Computer Account Cleanup - Petri.co.il forums by Daniel Petri 1
K.C.Leblanc Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Just be careful if you've got teacher laptops. Many of ours are away from the network for more then 60 days at a time.
SYNACK Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 @K.C.Leblanc -If your running Windows Vista or 7 clients KMS can help with this, ours are set to reactivate at least once every two months. If they haven't been connected to the network in that time either they don't work there anymore or shouldn't and so the laptop locks out untill it is reconnected to the network.
DaveMurphy Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Just out of curiosity do you have to put this on the AD settings or just manually on every pc?
