Jobos Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I'm using Publisher 2007 and want to shade a text box. I've set the fill to black and transparency to 40%. This looks ok on screen but when printed the text boxes are shaded with dots instead of a smooth gray. What am I missing?

enjay Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Ah okay. Do you have other printers you could try? I've seen that a couple of times, especially on cheaper printers.
Guest TheLibrarian Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 My standard response to any Publisher printing issue is; save the file as a JPG or PNG (etc.) and print that. It solves soooo many issues.
