Hi all,

I am having real problems with a web site the Maths co-ordinator wants to use. It is called I-Progress and uses Adobe Shockwave to run. I have installed the latest version (11.5.2r602). When it loads, IE8 just hangs. The really annoying thing is that it DOES work on about 40% of the computers here. I just cant get the rest to work.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, checked permissions, the MSI definitely works. It happens in Firefox and Chrome

On a machine that doesn't work, the Admin account will load it up no problems, the student account wont.

On a machine that does work, anyone can load it. I have looked at the registry for all shockwave entries and couldn't find any differences.

Does anyone else use this I-Progress? I am really stuck with this, I have absolutely no ideas!

It appears to be just this web site that's the problem, but it also appears to be some of the machines that are the problem, I cant pinpoint what's wrong.

Someone must be able to help!! Please!!

Tried forcing compatability mode for the site? You can set it per-machine (for testing) and domain-wide in a GPO if it fixes it.
