Admiral208 Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Hi all, I am having real problems with a web site the Maths co-ordinator wants to use. It is called I-Progress and uses Adobe Shockwave to run. I have installed the latest version (11.5.2r602). When it loads, IE8 just hangs. The really annoying thing is that it DOES work on about 40% of the computers here. I just cant get the rest to work. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, checked permissions, the MSI definitely works. It happens in Firefox and Chrome On a machine that doesn't work, the Admin account will load it up no problems, the student account wont. On a machine that does work, anyone can load it. I have looked at the registry for all shockwave entries and couldn't find any differences. Does anyone else use this I-Progress? I am really stuck with this, I have absolutely no ideas! It appears to be just this web site that's the problem, but it also appears to be some of the machines that are the problem, I cant pinpoint what's wrong. Someone must be able to help!! Please!! James
pete Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Tried forcing compatability mode for the site? You can set it per-machine (for testing) and domain-wide in a GPO if it fixes it.
