What do you guys think of these?

Im thinking of getting a couple for the kids. they use msn and itunes for their ipods also browsing the net playing flash games etc usual 8-11 yr old stuff.

 

are they value for money ? or are they just a posh htc ?

We have a few as glorified word processors, but I wouldn't buy one if you want to use it as a "proper" computer.

 

It runs Windows CE so won't run ITunes, it won't play flash within websites but does have some kind of standalone flash player. It does have a preinstalled MSN client.

 

The most annoying thing about it is that the "My Documents" folder isn't stored in flash so gets wiped everytime the machine is switched off. It's fixable with a registry change though, or just being careful where you save things.
