SharePoint Calendars

Hi,

 

I am trying to synchronise a calendar with SharePoint server 2007. I have already got a calendar with all the content, but when i create a new calendar list within Sharepoint and say connect to outlook it creates a new calendar. I try to import a ics/pst file calendar items put on both ocassions it just imports the calendar items into the default calendar not the one SharePoint created.
