stzky Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Try Planet eStream - it does everything, it's cheap, and their support is excellent.

unixman_again Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) We use Helix Media Libray. It's not bad although it can have trouble if the video doesn't have sound. They have a great add-on (which we don't have) where-by a lecturer can record their lecture and add to to the library with one click. Edited September 4, 2013 by unixman_again
ozydave Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Another vote for Helix. The video library is great
Arthur Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 on the open source front I've found: MythTV & Media Portal. MediaGoblin is another.
gshaw Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Try Planet eStream - it does everything, it's cheap, and their support is excellent. We've just bought eStream, very impressed by it and solves streaming, digital signage and off air recording in the one package
unixman_again Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Any rough pricing @unixman_again? Sorry no, I'm not allowed to know anything about budgets, which is just how I like it.
Neomedia Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 What are you looking to do with the signage?
