Sanguinor Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 A very simple question: Does anyone know of a way to automatically backing a pen drive up when ever it is plugged into a machine?
Sanguinor Posted November 30, 2009 Author Posted November 30, 2009 So I could just write an autorun script for the drive to copy it's entire contents so a certain place? Sounds like a simple enough idea.
computer_expert Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 for backing my pen drive up to my home machine, i use microsoft synctoy and usbdlm (to launch synctoy when the drive is plugged in)
bossman Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 You could use an autorun script, if you didnt have autorun disabled like we do here. Here is some software that will do it for a price Automatic USB Backup & Synchronize, Backup File to USB drive, Sync Files with USB drive. Hope this is what you are lookin for :)
Sanguinor Posted November 30, 2009 Author Posted November 30, 2009 have picked up a copy of that pendrive software, seems pretty decent. Will give it a trial run wiht my ladys laptop this week.
