OS X, Joomla and server side mail rules

Hello,

 

I have run into quite a big issue with regards to running Joomla on OS X 10.6, along with OS X mail, with server side mail rules.

 

I set up the web service with the services options, mail and also ticked the allow server side mail rules. These options allow users to change their passwords via the browser and also to set up vacation rules.

 

Unfortunately, with these options enabled Joomla's administrative backend no longer works. This is with Joomla 1.5.15 installed and running on OS X 10.6.2.

 

I don't think there is much anyone can do about it to help. It seems to be linked with the mootools.js file needed by Joomla which is also used by OS X for their vacation rules etc. Webmail works fine though
