Security marking

I know this has been mentioned before but, has anyone any experience of Selecta Mark on aluminium surfaces?

 

Ive just used it on our power macs and although the stickers are good, the chemical etching doesnt seem to be that effective? maybe its just the colour doesnt transfer to the aluminium as well as a plastic surface?
