Hi there

I'm experiencing a problem with Quick Time 7 on a laptop, i cant get the program to run i keep getting the message QuickTime player has encountered an error and needs to close. I have uninstalled Quicktime and re installed it and it hasnt fixed it. Can anyone help?

Laptop is running windows xp sp3 and all the other laptops that have quicktime on seem to be working fine. It's just this one thats started to play up.

Right i have finally fixed it. I did a search on the c:\ driive for quicktime and removed everything related to it. Then i used regedit, and went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and expanded that folder then i removed the Apple Computer Inc folder. I restarted the machine then proceded to download and reinstall quicktime. Quicktime now works perfectly now :-)

Hope that saves people some of the frustration that i have had with it today.
