[ms office - 2007] Strange Word 2007 problem.

Word document on desktop. User opens it then does Save As and chooses My Documents. User clicks Save and gets error message ‘\\server\user$\test.doc’ cannot be found. Check your spelling, or try a different path.’

 

Googling this gives references about having CA Antivirus not scan network drives. We use CA Antivirus here but I’ve disabled it and still Word cannot save.

 

Saving to other mapped drives works fine, it's just saving to My Documents and N: which is mapped to my docs.

 

 

Any ideas?
