KWestos Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Hi, I have a 2003 domain and have just added some 2008 terminal servers. Now the problems I'm having are with group policies. I can lock the users of terminal servers down with the policies available (2003 domain) but when users login to the terminal servers (2008) there are features in there which I want to lock down, but they are not there in the 2003 policies. Is there anything I can do to migrate some policies from 2008 to 2003 or am I stuck. Most of it is ok, I guess the users will have to get used to the vista'ish appearance, but I can't find a way to remove the control pan (add/remove programs) from the explorer window). Many thanks
djm968 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 You should use the group policy management console from the Windows Server 2008 machine (in the Admin Tools folder) and target the policy object in the 2003 AD. This should provide the additional options you require.
