Googlemail and iPhone

Hello,

 

I have started to migrate from my MobileMe to Googlemail. So far things have been so so. Apart from me accidentally erasing my calendar and thus missing an appointment for some training, its gone alright

 

But one thing i would like is the synching of my to-dos from iCal onto the google Servers and then onto my iPhone. Does anyone know the best best way for this or has even done such a thing. The current method i have is a web part on my home screen which is ok, but requires internet access. This would be fine if the signal at our new school was even worth having

 

So any ideas?

Does this work in the UK? I've been using IMAP for GMail from my iPhone and read about the ActiveSync Exchange integration the other day but couldn't get it to work properly for some reason?

Yes it does, I have been using it on my iPod Touch for a while now.

Am I right in thinking you go into add a mail account and select the exchange option rather than googlemail?

 

What settings do you use from here?

I can sync my mail and calendar. I just would like to be able to sync my to do list as well.
