Lancashire IT Technicians Meeting 22 Oct 2009

A LGFL Technician meeting has been arranged at Woodlands Conference Centre, Chorley on 22 October 2009 from 9.30am until midday.

 

The meeting is for High school IT Network Managers / IT Technicians to update them on up and coming LGFL and CLEO projects that could affect IT systems in schools.

 

The meeting will include a presentation on MIDAS (Moodle Integration Dashboard Authentication Service). This will provide schools with a link between Moodle and the MIS system, online reporting information for parents and a simplified sign on to web based resources.

 

Following the presentation the MIDAS project team will be available questions. There will also be an open forum to give technicians the opportunity to discuss any problems with the LGFL/CLEO networks within their school.

 

I would be grateful if you could attend this meeting. Places are limited so early booking is advisable.

Thanks for reminding me Roger. I keep promising to put it on there. Hopefully it should be on with a booking form in next couple of days. The snail mail and electronic versions should be going out today to IT coords and Heads.
