Notification of added file to network folder

[misterchris]

Is there anyway of receiving notification of when a new file has been added to a folder on a network drive. Our school stores all letters in one location and i have to check every day to see if anything new has been added in order to upload it to our Learning Platform - just want to save myself some work

What are you using for the learning platform?

Uniservity - ideally the teachers would just upload the letters themselves - i've shown them how several times but they cant seem to cope with anything new.

See above these should give you a few possibilities.

Thanks Wes, I'll check those links out

Does Uniservity show web folder at all like Sharepoint? You'd be able to map the folder to that if it were so the staff shouldn't notice any difference.
