Shadow Copying Client

Does anyone know how to disable shadow copying client?

 

I have enabled Shadow Copying on a windows 2003 server sp2. The Shadow copies are being "backed up" to another drive on the same Server. Everything is working ok except all client machines/users can see the previous versions tab.

No Shadow Copying software is installed on client machines XP/SP2

I have applied the registry entry mentioned in KB888603 but previous versions tab is still visible.

Has anyone got any ideas ??

I don't understand why you would want to hide it though? the amount of people who can restore their work on their own now through previous versioning made my life bearable.
