CyberNerd Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Anyone know if its possible to do a live VMWare backup using the free server edition? At the moment I'm shutting the machine down, tarring and compressing the files then starting the server up again. If its not possible to do this live, anyone know a CLI way of shutting the server down and starting itso I can script the backup. thanks
